REACH BC Team

If you’ve already been using REACH BC, you may have noticed some things look different now. We’re excited to show you all the changes we’ve made to help make things easier for you.

Volunteer Dashboard

We’ve decluttered your dashboard. Your research opportunities are now organized across 3 tabs. Clearly see any new matched opportunities that need your attention under 'Suggested For You'.

After viewing the details and clicking “I’m Interested”, the opportunity will move to the 'My Projects' tab as you wait to hear from the research team to see if you can participate in the research project. You can then archive and save any opportunities you want to reference in the future in the 'My Archived Projects' tab.

More relevant matched opportunities

You may notice a change in the number of opportunities you’re matched to. This is because we’ve improved our matching programming to make sure you’re only seeing opportunities you could be eligible for – whether it be related to where you’re located or opportunities more specific to the age of your children.

Find out what happened after you participated in a study

For archived projects, you’ll now be able to view study results when they’re available and find out what researchers learned from their research study or patient partner research opportunity.

News Section

We’re highlighting you and your stories on the website's new stories page. You’ll find interesting stories from volunteers and researchers sharing more about their experience being involved in a health research study.

Matching E-mail

We’ve made it easier for you to quickly review or delete research opportunities directly from your email. When you receive the weekly e-mail with matched opportunities, you can log in to click “I’m interested” or delete them if they’re not suitable for you.

Let us know what you think of the updates!
